Over the years in IT, I've faced countless situations where a practical solution mattered far more than any documentation. At some point, I realized that keeping this experience "in the drawer" means losing the opportunity to help others and to keep learning through knowledge exchange.
My main goal is to share real cases, working approaches, and architectural solutions that can be applied in practice, not just in theory. I want this blog to become a place where complex questions find practical answers and can be discussed with like-minded professionals.
Story #1: Parallel Work
There was a task the team had been working on for weeks. We worked in parallel: different parts, but the same type of changes. My part took only 4 hours to complete. This wasn't about speed but about the right approach and architecture. When processes are structured and best practices are in place, what usually takes weeks can be solved in a single day.
Story #2: Innovations
For many years, almost decades, I've often been the first to analyze complex things, explore new technologies, propose innovations, and implement them in our projects and approaches. Looking back, I now see the importance of sharing this knowledge beyond my own team, showing others how things can be done better, faster, and more reliably.
Story #3: Interviews
Throughout my career, I've conducted a huge number of interviews. Almost every time, candidates would discover interesting solutions and approaches we had implemented. None of this was secret or proprietary; it was just common sense and knowing where to look for answers. It always surprised me how often people skipped simple research or ignored obvious tools like Google to solve problems. This experience is also worth sharing beyond the interview room.
What to Expect in This Blog
- Technical deep-dives: Architecture, .NET, Azure, DevOps.
- Step-by-step guides: From refactoring to deployment.
- Real-world stories: Practical cases, mistakes, and solutions.
I plan to post regularly and show the whole process, including those parts that are rarely covered in official documentation.
